The NTH Scorpene Nomad has proven itself to be one of my favorite NTH models, as it does so many things well and is just a great looking watch overall. The first thing you notice is that it’s got a really masculine “tool" vibe going on, and it reminds me of a watch that Chuck Norris would take with him on an adventure in some far away location. The fit and finish are great (as per usual with NTH), and the lume is absolutely amazing; it doesn’t take much ambient light to charge it, and once you do, the light show on your wrist is incredible, and it lasts all throughout the night.
In closing, I’m exceptionally happy with the NTH Scorpene Nomad as well as the superb service I received from Mark and Serious Watches; the entire purchasing experience was flawless from start to finish, and they are always seemingly available to help, even though they’re on the other side of the world. Highly recommended.
Let me start with Serious Watches. Like the previous time, the watch was sent immediately (received in a business day), packaged flawlessly, with a handwritten card and small gifts. I requested to adjust the bracelet to my wrist size and they did so perfectly. Great service!
Now to the watch. This is my first NTH and the first impression I had taking it out of the box, was that it may not worth its price. The finishing which isn't up to par with established brands and the thin bracelet can lead to hasty conclusions.
I could not be more wrong. This is a watch you have to wear to appreciate. The size, shape, dimensions, weight, are all made to wear comfortably and complement your wrist rather than stand out. It's a perfect everyday watch.
It is a quality piece, with attention to detail. I love the bezel and especially its grips. The bracelet comes with full and half links and you only need a screwdriver to adjust it.
I do find the original Scorpene a bit crowded, between the bezel and the dial. The Nomad is more balanced due to the bezel not having markers.
My only —small— peeve is the 9015, which is easy to start rotating freely by a random hand movement.
All in all, extremely happy with NTH!

The NTH Scorpène Nomad Date is a high quality diving watch. The technical aspects are very impressive: double domed sapphire glass with an AR coating, 300m (30ATM) water resistance, a 120 click uni-directional bezel and of course a great Made in Japan automatic movement, the Miyota. cal. 9015 (28800bph). The watch is very comfortable due to the 40mm diameter and 48mm lug to lug distance but also due to small details such as a refined clasp and an easy-to-use big crown.
