I've been very much enjoying the Nethuns No5 since it arrived. The case is very well made and the bezel action compares favourably to my pam submersible. I do worry about the effectiveness and longevity of the crown lever as it is held in by a detent ball rather than lever pressure like on the luminor. The dial is a nice dark inky black and the lume stands out well both on the hands and through the indice cut outs. Mine is running a little fast, gaining around a minute every 5 days. The movement winds nicely with little resistance and the crown provides an easy grip. Like a panerai the lugs drape the wrist, so it wears smaller than its dimensions suggest on paper. It sits really nicely on my 6.75" wrist. The strap is ok. Not terrible, but not up to the standard of panerai rubber, feeling stiffer and less supple. The buckle should be a little more curved as when done up on the 2nd to last hole it sticks out quite prominently and can catch on things.
Overall a great fun watch. I hope Nethuns keeps putting out unique pieces like this.

The Nethuns No. 5.2.1.7.04 is a spectacular Swiss Made bronze watch. The most obvious perk of the watch is the material: it's entirely made from CuSn8 bronze. Bronze has the great attribute that it builds up a layer of patina. This is an ongoing process which makes every watch unique. Discolouration is normal with this material. One major benefit is that you can largely bring back your watch in the original condition by using a Cape Cod cloth. Under the hood you will find a Swiss Made ETA6497 handwinding movement. The dial is protected by 4.4mm thick sapphire glass, which helps with the impressive 300m water resistance.
