She are very good for solutions and adjust directly the length of the bracelet for my wrist.
I am being perhaps a bit harsh with four stars, but let me explain. And believe me, I do love this watch. I have owned it for one and a half months. Taking it out of the box, I was immediately struck by how spectacular this piece is. The dial is very interesting, with plenty of depth but without distractions. The CNC machining in the dial is perfectly executed. The applied logo and hour marks are a pleasure to look at and always capture the light in interesting ways. This watch changes so much under different light conditions, it’s something really to be seen. The polishing on the case also helps a lot here. With this watch, Formex has for me set a new standard on what to expect from a watch at this price level.
Now, why four stars instead of five, then? I originally bought the leather strap version, but it turned out not to be great for me. For smaller wrists sizes (I have a 16cm wrist) it tends to form a very bulky section underneath the wrist, tilting he watch ever so slightly either inwards or outwards, meaning that when you look at it it’s oftentimes at an angle. This also makes wearing it not all that comfortable. Further, the brown strap is well done, but because of its matte hue it “shuts off” the degradé dial and the watch as a whole loses in luminosity, although it still looks very good in my opinion. For these two reasons I also got the bracelet from Formex (see pictures), and IMHO it looks quite a lot better, but I do plan to switch between them from time to time. However, the strap alone is not worth removing a full star form the review. The reason why I don’t think this is perfect is the finishing. The hour mark at 4 o’clock on my watch has two little markings that, under the right light conditions, are quite visible. The seconds hand brushing is also not really perfect, and depending on the light you get a rather non-uniform reflection back. (If the uploaded pictures do not lose too much quality, both of these effects are visible in the photos.) Don’t get me wrong, these are by no means deal breakers: this is an amazing, light, clever, beautifully executed watch especially at this price point, and the COSC certification is the cherry on the cake if you ask me. But that said, I think in all fairness the watch was sooo *almost* perfect that, because it isn’t, it’s worth remarking it.
