The Hanhart 417 ES Moby Dick is a tremendous pilot chronograph with the impeccable Hanhart quality, design and finishing level. 

Hanhart has been specializing in pilot chronographs and stopwatches for well over a century and it shows in this Hanhart Pioneer. The watch has all the basics right, such as 100m water resistance, high-dome convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a comfortable leather bund strap and a solid Sellita SW 510 M mechanical (handwinder) chronograph movement. With a solid 42mm diameter, and a mere 13.3mm thickness, this watch will be comfortable and a joy to wear, while standing out with its beautiful dial with historic Hanhart logo and fluted bezel. 

And you may also wonder about the name - the Moby Dick. Hanhart has a phenomenal history and they briefly made the white dial version of the 417 ES, which was most worn by admirals and doctors. It was an exceedingly rare piece, that had received this nickname from collectors. Hanhart has now brought it back however.

  2 year warranty

  We offer a 2 year warranty on all watches. This covers all mechanical malfunction arising from parts failure and/or assembly errors. Excluded are parts that by their nature may not last 2 years, like batteries and leather straps, damage/problems caused by improper use and wear and tear. We stand behind the brands that we sell and the quality that they offer.
  Some of our brands also offer an international warranty, which will also apply.

  Service and parts

  In the unfortunate event of a problem with your watch, you simply need to send it to us (or take it to another dealer if the brand offers an international warranty). We have access to the official service centers, where only original parts are used and the watchmakers are qualified and experienced with your type of watch. Not every watch movement is the same, so it's best if it's handled by people who know what they are doing.
  After your 2 years warranty has expired we are able to offer service in most cases.
