Cape Cod has been a must-have for watch enthusiasts all over the world for years now. With these cloths you can bring your scratched, old watches back to life in a jiffy. They are suitable for nearly all metals, suich as steel, silver, chrome and gold. They are also very suitable to polish silver objects, so Cape Code isn't just for watches! This Cape Cod tin comes with 12 cloths, a buffing cloth and gloves. How it works: Using Cape Cod cloths is relatively easy. *Just cut a small piece from the cloth (4 by 4cm should be fine, you can always get another piece). *Rub the cloth across the part you want to polish. *Deep scratches need more force and time than shallow ones. Don't hesitate to spend some time polishing a deep scratch, it can take some time. *After a while the cloth will get black. This is normal. You can just keep polishing. *When you're done polishing (or if you want to check the results), please use a soft (buffing) cloth. This ensures you do not create new scratches during the cleaning. If you purchase our Cape Cod tin, there will be a polishing cloth included. *With every cloth you can polish a lot. It of course depends on how deep the scratches are or how big the surface is, but with 1 package you can definitely polish at least 1 watch (though usually quite a lot more!). Every pouch is re-closable, so after you're done, you can store it properly. Do note: *Despite the fact that Cape Cod isn't harmful to your skin, we recommend wearing clothes. These can be your basic latex gloves, or cleaning gloves. With the Cape Cod tin, there is a free pair included. *Despite having a nice vanilla smell, please do not eat it or bring it into contact with your eyes. Due to the smell, we recommend keeping it away from children. *Cape Cod polishing cloths are only suitable for polished parts. If you also have brushed parts on your watch we recommend putting some masking tape on there, just to prevent accidents. Also be careful to keep the cloths away from your watch glass. Especially sapphire glass with an AR-coating, is vulnerable to polishing compounds.
